Flesh: Wrap

My artwork for the first class assignment, themed “Flesh”, in a school elective called Applied Drawing. We were told to go home and research on a given theme each week, then to apply it into our drawings, which were done during class time.

I didn’t what to do then, so I simply slapped the veins and capillaries onto my drawing of the model…which was not really that simple after all, considering how unaccustomed I was to drawing detail. So I took quite a while to plan out how and where to draw the stuff. At least this piece turned out quite ok, so…yeah.
